Dalian Neusoft University of Information (DNUI) is a private university approved by the Ministry of Education and founded by Neusoft Corporation. It is primarily focused on engineering disciplines, with coordinated development across engineering, management, arts, humanities, and medicine. DNUI ranked first among “Private and Independent Colleges” category in the National Higher Education Teachers Development Index released by the China Association of Higher Education for five consecutive years (2019–2023). In 2026, DNUI ranked second among private science and engineering universities in China by ShanghaiRanking. In 2024, it ranked second nationwide in  Wu Shulian’s ranking of China’stop private universitie.DNUI also ranked Global Top 100 Innovative Universities for six consecutive years (2021-2026). Over the years, the University has been awarded many honors and awards by Xinhua News Agency, China.org.cn, and China National Radio, including China’s Most Competitive Private University”, “China’s Top 10 Brand Private Universities”, “National Benchmark University for Application-Oriented-Education, “Outstanding Case ofin Digital Education” and “Case of AI + Education Integration and Development”.
The university is located in the core area of Dalian Software Park. It currently has two campuses, Software Park and Bochuan, covering a total area of 860,900 square meters, and a total building area of 555,000 square meters. There are more than 20,000 full-time students and 1,100+ faculty staff members. Leveraging its industrial background with Neusoft, DNUI focuses on the fields of "IT + Digital Media + Healthcare Technology," and has established five distinctive professional clusters: computer science and software, iIntelligent and electronic engineering, digital media and design, information and business management, and healthcare technology. It comprises 13 teaching institutions, offering 35 undergraduate programs and 9 associate degree programs.
